MONDAY, STV, 3PM Masterpiece with Alan Titchmarsh Alan, left, returns with second series of Masterpiece, where antique and history fans seek out the rarest - most valuable - objects on display.

NEW MONDAY, CHANNEL 4, 8.30PM The Fake News Show The mythbusting comedy panel show returns for a new series. Stephen Mangan, left, hosts and team captains are Katherine Ryan and Richard Osman.

NEW TUESDAY, BBC1, 9PM Three Girls The devastating effect of child-sexual exploitation is laid bare in this harrowing mini-series which is on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

It's based on real events between 2008 and 2012 when almost 50 girls suffered appalling abuse at the hands of Asian sex-grooming gangs in and around Rochdale. Almost as shocking was the fact the victims were ignored by the authorities.

Lesley Sharp plays a cop , Maxine Peake a health worker and the girls at the centre of the story are played by Molly Windsor, Ria Zmitrowicz and Liv Hall.

MONDAY, CHANNEL 4, 9PM Ivanka Trump: America's Real First Lady? It's six months since Donald Trump won the presidency and there is one woman he trusts above all others - his elder daughter Ivanka, left.

TUESDAY, BBC ALBA, 8.30PM North Coast 500 - Le Anne Lundon Anne, left, begins a 500-mile route around the north coast of Scotland. She'll make her way from Inverness Castle to the heights of Bealach Na Ba, Applecross.

NEW WEDNESDAY, BBC2, 8PM Trust Me, I'm a Vet Research has shown the African Grey Parrot is as bright as a three-year-old. In the wild, they live in flocks but are often kept in small cages on their own.

LAST THURSDAY, BBC1, 8PM Kat and Alfie: Redwater EastEnders' favourites Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie, left, star in their own Kat and Alfie Moon spin-off as they search for Kat's long-lost son in Ireland.
