Toolmex Introduces PALTECH PH-5000 Grades for Efficient Turning of Steel and Cast Iron.

Natick, MA, August 11, 2012 --( As an up and coming contender in the indexable carbide market, Product Engineers from Toolmex and Palbit SA have worked together to develop new technology turning grades for the US market, Paltech PH5.

The new Paltech PH 5000 turning grades from Palbit by Toolmex incorporate a new MT-CVD coating process. The new MT- CVD coatings combine MT-Ti(C,N) and Al2O3. The coating properties are improved for coating adhesion, toughness and wear properties through microstructural optimizations and post coating treatments. Toolmex is introducing the five new inserts at IMTS 2012, Booth 2275. The new product will be available in grades designed for finishing rough machining of steels and cast irons with superior results.

Along with the new turning grades, Palbit by Toolmex are introducing new milling products for the aerospace industry. The new tools will incorporate two locking screws to ensure excellent clamping while machining at high speeds achieving low cutting forces with the positive up-sharp and ground inserts.

“Toolmex is committed to bringing the most advanced indexable products to the marketplace and provide a total solution for all metalworking needs from the spindle to the machine table, and the chuck to the tail stock,” said Ark Kielb, President and CEO Toolmex Industrial Solutions.
