Tony Bullen's verdict LENSON WILSON [...].
Tony Bullen's verdict LENSON WILSON won this event last year at Towcester and has shown why he remains one of the most feared hurdlers in the country with a couple of bold victories in the preliminaries. He will have to bring his A-game with several fancied runners making the final, but he can lead off the second bend and stay one step ahead. Caislean Fifi really thrives in competitions. He enjoyed his moment in the spotlight by landing the Grand National here and is capable of raising his game when it counts. Last year's Northern Puppy Derby star Droopys Trawler went the hurdles route after receiving a red card, but he has made up into a smart sort and ought to be thereabouts. Turnhouse Jet is really starting to develop into a capable hurdler, but needs to apply early pressure on his kennelmate. Piemans Bullet does blow hot and cold, but the red vest is his ideal draw and he is capable of throwing a spanner into the works. Forest Capri is still learning the ropes over hurdles and cannot allow these to steal a march.
