The Corus v Carmarthen Athletic game saw a fine display of open and fast rugby, the Steelmen taking the honours 54-24 in an 11-try match.
Bridgend Athletic ended Bonymaen's slim title hopes in a 20-19 nailbiter. Aled Thomas ran in the winning try and Steven Lewis landed five penalties.
In One East, leaders Uwic edged to a 32-26 win at Merthyr. Simon Humberstone was the students' star as he scored a try, five penalties and a conversion for 22 points. Second-placed Bargoed put basement club Caerphilly to the sword 47-0 and Llanharan pounded Ystrad Rhondda 46-12. Lee Thorne ran in two of the Dairymen's six tries and Codey Rees kicked 14 points.
Tredegar won the mid-table clash at Rumney 47-25. Luke James ran in a brace and Darren Pearce kicked four conversions and three penalties in a 17-point haul while lowly Bedlinog scored an 18-12 win over Beddau.
