THE joker who suggested I impersonate Margaret Thatcher on the stage in Glasgow last week deserves a kick in the backside.
Me as the gruesome Maggie? What a tall order. The only "props" available were a blue dishcloth and a handbag. The evil eyes, claw hand and stone heart could not be manufactured.
Never mind. The audience were great and laughed loudly. Last Wednesday's show was a real treat and Raymond, Des, Sandy, Joe and the magical Allen on keyboards were all fantastic. Why not get down to the Vault, in Shawlands, tonight?
