Tommy Sheridan Column: PAY PLEA.
THE good cause cash this week goes to the striking nursery nurses' solidarity fund.
As I argue in today's column, these low-paid women workers deserve a decent salary and a nationally agreed salary. Starting pay of pounds 14,000-a-year, rising to pounds 18,000, is a very reasonable demand.
My column's pounds 200 donation will hopefully help these workers win.
Please send them a donation or get your trade union branch or workplace to organise a collection.
