Today is the last day for NBK Walkathon registration.
Kuwait City: Today is the last day for National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) walkathon registration. The Walkathon will be held on Saturday, 9th December2017. The Registration Center, located next to the Scientific Center, will be open for its last day from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
NBK Group CEO Mr. Issam J. Al Sager, NBK- Kuwait CEO Mr.Salah Yousef Al Fulaij and NBK- Kuwait Deputy CEO and NBK General Manager, Treasury Group,Mr. Sulaiman Barrak al Marzouq, were welcomed at the NBK Walkathon registration center in Salmiya as they prepared to take part in the 9th December event.
"Thousands of participants have signed up for this annual festival. NBK's Walkathon is marked by a variety of fun, entertainment and health awareness activities. People still have the chance to take part today", said Talal Al Turki, NBK Public Relations Team Leader.
Al Turki added "at NBK, we believe in encouraging people in Kuwait to live a healthier lifestyle and that's why we organize the Walkathon every year as part of our corporate social responsibility initiatives".
NBK will award the top 10 winners in each category, and will give away two brand new Renault cars, as grand prizes during the Walkathon along with many other valuable prizes.
Ten winners will be selected from each of the 10 categories of participants. The walk for both the female and male participants will start from the Green Island on the Gulf Road to the Shuwaikh Beach Park, parallel to the Gulf Road, next to KPC building for a distance of 11 Km.
NBK strongly supports sporting events and encourages various sporting activities as means to promote a healthier and more active lifestyle for members of the community. Throughout the years, NBK also organizes several social awareness programs including Educational, Environmental, Health and many other active initiatives.
