KUWAIT, April 21 (KUNA) -- 1976 -- The Amir Sheikh Sabah Alآ Salem Alآ Sabah issued law 18/1976 concerning organizing trade with sales prices. 1976 -- The Amir Sheikh Sabah Alآ Salem Alآ Sabah issued law 19/1976 concerning abuse of phones and communication means, with a penalty of six months in jail or KD 100 fine or both in case of such violation. 1979 -- Gymnast Jawad Askar retired after a 15آ year career. 1988 -- Kuwaitis, headed by the Amir Sheikh Jaber Alآ Ahmad Alآ Jaber Alآ Sabah, received the passengers of Kuwait Airways' Alآ Jabriya airplane, which was hijacked for 16 days, during which two Kuwaiti citizens were killed. 1992 -- The Amir Sheikh Jaber Alآ Ahmad Alآ Sabah issued decree 63/1992 according to which the Social Development Office is established to study the social and psychological impacts of the Iraqi occupation of Kuwait. 2000 -- Kuwait formed national committee to follow up the implementation of international agreements concerning weapons of mass destruction. 2001 -- The Amir Sheikh Jaber Alآ Ahmad Alآ Sabah received an award from an international institute for establishing the Social Development Bureau in Kuwait in 1992. 2001 -- Kuwait and Saudi Arabia signed the final lists for people who deserve housing units in the new Khairan area. 2002 -- The inauguration took place of the first National Conference for Education Development in Kuwait. 2007 -- Kuwait Sports Club wins for the second time in a row, and for the ninth time overall, the Martyr Ahmad Alآ Fahad Football Tournament after defeating Kazma 2آ 0. 2011 -- Dr. Moudhi Alآ Humoud launched the first phase of the national atlas of the state's services, utilities, institutions project.
