HOORAY! Gloucester Police have fined 67 cyclists pounds 30 each for riding bikes in the city centre pedestrianised zone.

How I wish Coventry City Police would do likewise here, and at the same time check that bikes had bells and lights and that the riders wore helmets. Surely, wheeled vehicles in pedestrian areas (and pavements) should not travel at more than walking speed - 4mph.
