Title holder Brook detects fear in challenger's eyes.
KELL Brook insisted he could see "fear" in Gennady Golovkin's eyes at the weigh-in for tonight's highly-anticipated WBC and IBF middleweight title fight.
The 30-year-old reigning IBF welterweight champion will step up two weight divisions at London's O2 Arena to challenge a fighter widely considered the most dangerous in the world.
Golovkin's destructive punching power and the way it intimidates opponents have drawn comparisons with Mike Tyson.
But Sheffield's Brook insist there are nerves underneath the Kazakh's cool exterior.
"I looked into his eyes, and I could see fear," he told Sky Sports. "He knows he's in a real fight. I'm ready for this moment."
Darlington's Stuart Hall has claimed he will "steam through frail little girl" Lee Haskins when he tries to regain the IBF bantamweight title on the O2 undercard.
