Tino: I'm not mad.

Newcastle's pounds 7.5 million wildman Faustino Asprilla claims he is simply misunderstood.

The controversial Colombian could be booted out for six games after his elbowing and head- butt on Keith Curle at Manchester City on Saturday.

But yesterday he protested: "It's not just. I don't get anything in my favour. I'm not a bad man. I am South American but I am not Asprilla the crazy man.

"I'm a good boy, a nice person but people misunderstand me."

The FA will almost certainly slap a three-match ban on 26-year-old Asprilla for EACH of his bust-ups with the City skipper.
