Timetable to apply.

JANUARY 16 Deadline for applications for a September 2012 reception class place, and for changes of preference through moving address etc.

APRIL 23 An email goes out to families who have applied online informing them of what place their child has been offered.

Letters will also go out first class and will arrive by Tuesday April 24.

MAY 9 Last date for families to complete and return reply slip at the bottom of the offer letter indicating whether or not they are accepting the place offered.

Failure to reply by this date means families could be at risk of losing the offer made.

Any appeal forms for community and voluntary controlled schools must also be returned by this date to School Admissions and Pupil Placements.

Academies, foundation and voluntary aided schools may have different closing dates for appeals.

JULY 11 All appeals for community and voluntary controlled schools will be heard by this date.
