Tigers earn shutout of Pleasant Hill.

JUNCTION CITY - Nikki Sherman earned the shutout in goal and Mia Pederson had two assists to lead Junction City to a 3-0 victory over Pleasant Hill in a Sky-Em League girls soccer game on Monday.

Pederson assisted Chandni Patel on the game's first goal, in the 36th minute, then assisted Kaley Hafner in the 56th minute. Brittney McKinley scored in the 53rd minute for the Tigers (2-3).

Sisters 2, Elmira 0: Mindy Marr scored in the 37th minute and Karah Herr scored in the 54th minute to give the Outlaws (4-1) the victory over the host Falcons (2-3).

Marist 10, LaPine 0: Tahne Apo and Jessica Stambaugh scored two goals apiece to lead the Spartans to the shutout over the Hawks.

Kate Wilkins, Ashley Elder, McKinley Dennis, Kayla Braud, Laurie Konieczka and Siarra Konyn also scored for Marist, which got a shutout from Jessie Copley, her fourth in five games.

Cottage Grove 14, Creswell 0: Reed Levings scored four goals and Brittani Beach scored three to lead the Lions to the shutout of the Bulldogs.

Cloie Fish and Makenna Elliott had two assists apiece for Cottage Grove, and Naomi Baker and Kyle Walley combined for the shutout.

District 3

South Umpqua 4, Umpqua Valley Christian 0: Victoria Jackson scored a hat trick and Chelsea Duffy scored a goal and had two assists to lead the Lancers (4-0-1) past the Monarchs.
