Tiger beer from Singapore launches in Atlanta. (Marketplace).

Best Brands International has announced the launch of Tiger Beer In Atlanta on August 26, 2002.

The product is brewed in a highly-automated brewery located in Singapore. According to Best Brands, more than 160 quality control checks are carried out to maintain beer quality standards. In 1994, Tiger was the first brewery in Asia to be awarded the ISO 9002 certificate by Lloyd's of Lndon for its quality management systems.

In 1999, Best Brands reports that the brewery again attained HACCP certification, one of the first breweries to do so.

Tiger beer is sold in more than 50 countries, and the Tiger logo is a common sight throughout Asia.
