Tied game takes Bay step closer to top-flight survival.

COLWYN Bay edged ever closer to safety in the Liverpool Competition 1st XI ECB Premier League after an epic tied game at New Brighton.

Jenkins took 5-58 and Campion 5-67 as the teams collected 15 points apiece.

Prestatyn lost by 43 runs at Burscough in the 1st XI First Division.

The West Lancashire side were all out for 191, Peter Cassidy picking up 4-71 for the North Walians.

Hall are home to Caldy on Saturday in the first of two remaining games.
