Thunder Bay hosts lightning rod for business.

Learning a few tricks of the trade to successfully improve your bottom line, your way, will take you to Thunder Bay in April.

Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters, in partnership with Ontario Exports Inc., Confederation College, the International Business Committee of the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce, and the Northwestern Ontario Associated Chambers of Commerce, is hosting "Grow Your Business 2005" in Thunder Bay, April 26-27.

The two-day event will feature presentations on how to tap into domestic as well as potential business opportunities abroad. Panels will focus on doing business in the United States and Mexico, China the Middle East, Latin America and Europe, as well as leveraging opportunities with International Financial Institutions and bilateral donor agencies.

Confirmed and invited speakers include senior representatives from the Canadian Consulates in Detroit, Chicago and Minneapolis, International Trade Canada, Ontario Exports Inc., the Canadian International Development Agency, as well as the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank and the Asian Development Bank.
