M2 EQUITYBITES-February 14, 2019-Thule Group's net income up in 2018


Thule Group AB (STO:THULE) reported on Wednesday net income of SEK837m, or EPS of SEK8.13, for the full year 2018.

This was an increase over net income of SEK690m, or EPS of SEK6.77, in 2017.

Net sales for the full-year were SEK6,484m, up by 10.4% as compared with SEK5,872m in 2017. Adjusted for exchange rate fluctuations, sales rose 6.0%.

Also, the company's board of directors has proposed a dividend of SEK7.0 per share, which, based on the number of shares outstanding at 13 February 2019, corresponds to a dividend of SEK722m.

Thule Group is the owner of a collection of brands related to outdoor and transportation products. It is the market leader in cargo carriers for automobiles and a leading company in the outdoor and bags market.
