Thug who robbed a cabbie.

DETECTIVES last night released an image of a teenager believed to have robbed a taxi driver at knife point.

The man got into the back of the cab and held a knife to the driver's throat after being picked up near St Columba's church on Pinehurst Road, Walton.

He stole money and escaped from the taxi with two men who had been picked up shortly before him at the corner of Utting Avenue.

The driver was unhurt but shaken following the attack, at 3.30am on Wednesday, July 26.

The knifeman was white, 5ft 7ins, aged 17 to 18, "very skinny", with blond hair and a cracked tooth. He wore a baseball cap.

The second offender was white, 6ft, in his early 20s, skinny with short brown hair and spots on his face. He wore a dark "hoodie" and blue jeans.

The third offender was white and thin, and wore a blue tracksuit.
