Thug evicted after attack.
Kevin Owens, 43, from Baden House, Old Swan, ran up behind an elderly man and punched him in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground.
Liverpool Crown Court heard that in another incident he threw the tenant's dog down a flight of stairs in Baden House.
Housing bosses at Liverpool Mutual Homes have now been granted possession of the flat and have 28 days to evict Owens.
LMH Director of Housing and Customer Services Angela Forshaw said: "We applaud the judge for his appreciation that residents should not have to live in fear and intimidation but mostly we thank the residents in Old Swan who showed great courage helping us challenge Owens' appalling behaviour.
"The court's decision to grant the eviction order sends out a strong message to our tenants.
"We will help them stand up against the bullies and those few individuals who are intent on making people's lives a misery and preventing them have quiet enjoyment of their home."
