Throw book at the PM! Letters.

IT would seem that I'm at a total loss, all of a sudden. I refer, of course, to the uncouth tactics of our illustrious Prime Minister.

In his efforts to balance the books and strengthen the failing economy he is forcing local government to cut their library provision.

He does not seem to know that a forward moving, thinking , progressive society opens libraries - it does not close them.

Is our great leader about to throw the baby out with the proverbial? And to think he is doing all this just so he can stand up in the house and say he saved the economy. Well I ask - at what price? This, of course does not mention how he has frightened the life out of library staff, who I might add are a dedicated bunch.
