Threshers apologises.

THE two shop assistants are furious that despite the two violent attacks no one from Threshers, who own The Local, got in touch with them until Wednesday. And it is claimed that was only after complaints from the first victim's husband about her treatment. A spokesman for Threshers said: "Under our procedures, the local district manager is responsible for contacting staff who have been victims of crime in our stores. Regrettably, on this occasion, the district manager was away and the female shop assistant was not contacted, for which Threshers apologises. "This was a failure of communication by Threshers management and we would like to apologise to her, and stress that this was an exceptional circumstance."
