Salalah : Three financing agreements between Salalah Methanol Company and the Ministry of Social Development were signed in Dhofar governorate yesterday. Awadh bin Hassan Al Shanfari, the CEO of Salalah Methanol Company, signed the agreements on behalf of the company. Abdullah bin Sulaiman Al Sabie, director-general of the Directorate General of Social Development in Dhofar governorate signed on behalf of the Ministry of Social Development in the presence of Dr Yahya bin Badr Al Ma'awali, undersecretary at the Ministry of Social Development. Salalah Methanol Company, under the first agreement, will fund the purchase of prosthetic devices and medical aid for people with disabilities. Under the second agreement, the company will fund the purchase of three buses for persons with disabilities to Al Wafa Social Centres in the wilayats of Salalah, Taqah and Mirbat. According to the third agreement, Salalah Methanol Company will finance the basic needs of 50 social security families. Salalah Methanol Company, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development, has funded many welfare projects in the governorate.
