Three saved from city night fires.

TWO women were rescued from a serious fire at their home in Toxteth.

It happened on Beres-ford Road at 1.15am today.

The woman, aged 57 and 27, were carried from the terraced house by fire crews. A man aged 48 was led to safety.

All three were treated at the scene but refused hospital treatment.

Firefighters remained at the house for around an hour. The kitchen, where the fire started, was badly damaged.

A man was rescued by fire crews after a blaze at his home.

The incident happened at a terraced house in Vandyke Street, Toxteth, shortly before 4am today.

The 60-year-old was treated at the scene by paramedics after inhaling large amounts of smoke.

His living room was destroyed
