Three perish on road, eight injured.
FAISALABAD -- Two women and a man died and at least eight others sustained injuries in a collision between a rickshaw and a tractor-trolley near Bara Keyala on Narwala Road on Tuesday.
Rescue 1122 sources said a rickshaw collided with a tractor-trolley due to speeding, resulting in the on-the-spot death of Mano Bibi, 60, Nusrat Bibi, 30, and Ijaz, 31.
In the accident, Sumaira and her daughters Malaika, 8, Zainab, 6, besides Pervaiz, Sidra, Nadia, Mahnoor and Rohan sustained injuries.
Five of the injured persons were shifted to the General Hospital, Ghulam Muhammadabad, and the remaining three were discharged after being provided first aid.
