Three charged over two burglaries in night.

THREE men from Birmingham have been charged with burglary after allegedly targeting two properties in one night.

Daniel Robert Thomas, 24, of Gilby Road, Ladywood, is charged with two counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary.

Ian John Finnegan, 34, of Hickman Gardens, Edgbaston, has been charged with three counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary. And Jamie Gavin Williams, 24, of Dormston Drive, Weoley Castle, was charged with four counts of burglary and two of attempted burglary following an investigation by West Mercia Police.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police, said: "The men were charged after a burglary took place at an address in Walcott Lane in Pershore, Worcestershire, and attempted burglary took place in Ombersley Road in Worcester. Both incidents occurred on Tuesday 26 August.

"During the burglary in Walcott Lane a laptop was stolen."

Daniel Robert Thomas and Ian John Finnegan have been remanded in custody, while Jamie Gavin Williams has been released on bail.

All three are due to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Monday December 1.
