Three charged on court fracas.

THREE men have been charged over a disturbance outside Kirklees Magistrates' Court in Huddersfield.

Javed Hussain, 25, of Ravenshouse Road, Dewsbury; Amar Jabbar, 23, of Parker Road, Thornhill Lees, and Shamas Zahid, 21, of Ward Street, Dewsbury, all appeared before the same court yesterday.

Hussain was charged with assaulting a woman police constable and using threatening behaviour towards two police officers and court security officers Julian Rowe and Rohan Donaldson on April 12 this year.

Jabber and Zahid were also charged with threatening behaviour.

All three are also jointly charged with damaging two windows, worth pounds 400, at the Station Hotel in Crackenedge Lane, Dewsbury, and causing pounds 200 damage to stalls and guttering at Dewsbury Market on March 13.

The case was adjourned until May 1 and transferred to Halifax Magistrates' Court.
