Three alleged rapists held in Faisalabad.
Faisalabad -- The police have arrested three people for their alleged involvement in raping a teen aged girl in Faisalabad.
According to the police, the victim, Ayesha*, 15, a maid, was returning home, when she was waylaid by three drunken persons and dragged her into a house before raping her.
The alleged rapists, who were later arrested by the police later, were identified as Nasir, Sadiq and Abdur Razaq, raped the girl umpteenth time before escaping, the police quoted the victim as saying.
The rape victim along with her brother approached the police and lodged a case against the alleged rapists, who were at large.
Faisalabad CPO Afzal Ahmed Kosar while taking notice of the incident formed a team headed by SHO Mamo Kanjan to arrest the alleged rapists. The police team raided a hideout and arrested the rapists, who have been shifted to a local police station for further investigation. The police, meanwhile, also conducted a medical report of the rape victim and the result was awaited.
