Three Kumasi NDC shooting suspects surrender to police.

Three of the suspects wanted by the police in connection with the shooting incident at the regional office of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) a fortnight ago, have turned themselves in to the police at Kumasi.

The suspects are Dauda Ibrahim, alias Wayo, 40, Samuel Agyin, alias Rock, 32, and Abdul Ganiyu, alias Petit, 37.

The suspects were said to have voluntarily surrendered to the Ashanti Regional Police Command last Thursday.

ASP Godwin Ahianyo, Ashanti Regional Public Relations Officer, said the three are among 12 suspects declared wanted by the Ashanti Regional Police in connection with the unfortunate shooting at the NDC Ashanti regional office, which resulted in the death of one person and injury to another.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the suspects, upon surrendering, were subsequently arrested and are currently in police custody to help with investigations.

He said the police are still pursuing the remaining nine suspects, including Abdul Bari Muhammad, alias Warrior, Midjima Abu, alias Taliban, Sani Muhammed, alias Commando, Gyafaru, alias Jah Rule, Fayiz, and Solomon, alias Akon.

The police have strongly advised the suspects at large to report in their own interest, and further urged the general public to volunteer information that would lead to the arrest of the other suspects.
