Three Goldman bankers join EFG Hermes.

Three Goldman Sachs Group, Inc (NYSE: GS) executives have joined the buyout arm of Egypt-based investment bank, EFG Hermes.
EFG-Hermes Private Equity has announced that it has appointed Hazem Shawki, Kashif Siddiqui and Walid Zein as managing partners of its private-equity business. They are to be based in Dubai and Cairo. Shawki was a managing director in Goldman Sachs Group, Inc's (NYSE: GS) investment-banking division. Siddiqui and Zein were executive directors in the investment-banking division at Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
The three new appointments are in charge of boosting EFG-Hermes Private Equity's investor base in the region.
