Three's a charm.

"I was really into devil sticks, which is sorta like juggling. I had just learned a new trick and was so psyched that I gathered the whole family to watch right before Christmas dinner. Only when I threw the stick, it came down and bopped my uncle in the head just as he was carrying the turkey to the table. My family laughed, but they were nice enough to watch again--this time, 50 feet back. I didn't actually get the trick right until my third try." Oh, well, Hallie. Practice makes perfect. At least you didn't flub the grub.
