Thought For The Day.

STICKS and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me'' is surely one of the worst lies ever perpetrated.

Emotional wounds can still rise to the surface long after physical injuries have healed,and stab when we least expect it.

Words can be devastatingly cruel, targeting our worst insecurities.

They can also be comforting,kind and reassuring.

It is always better to be remembered for kind utterances rather than nasty barbs.
