IT WAS a great week at Goals Liverpool South, starting with the new Sunday League launch which saw some high quality games in both divisions.
Thomo's Team began their title defence well with an 18-5 win against RKeepersnogood and there was a 15-11 win for Childwall FC.
In the championship there were wins for Walls Of Jericho, All The Gear No Idea and Woods FC.
With one game to go in the season, Allerton Glass cemented top spot in the Premier with a 7-6 win against runners-up Skeete FC.
Sticky Bandits also remain top of the Championship with a solid 14-6 win against Donkey Ed's.
San Marino continued their good form in League One as they beat Deportivo Lackoffitness 10-6. The Tuesday League saw County FC crowned champions at the first time of asking. The team, captained by Irby CC wicketkeeper 'Karl Garcia',' won an impressive 10 games from 10 with a goal difference of plus 129. Real Bueno finished runners-up in the Tuesday League and continued the good form into the new season with an 11-7 win against Gunderdogs this week.
The Weighing Machine weighed in on Maher FC in the Wednesday League as they smashed 25 goals past them with 17 in reply.
Hardly Athletic made a good start to their league campaign in the Wednesday Championship as they beat Madden FC 15-6. The Bridge continued their good start since joining the league as they beat JTFC 15-10 in the Thursday Prem.
JTFC then had their second match which was a high standard game but Redfern FC pulled away to win 8-4. South Storm shocked the whole branch with back-toback wins and it's a great achievement for the lads who are improving - and now Brian Lappin is talking about winning the League.
