Guests are invited to spend New Year's Eve eating like a wise guy this year, as a Goodfellas-themed dinner will take place in a former Liverpool prison.
In homage to the classic film's prison dinner scene, food and drink pop-upBitter Socialwill throw a celebration in Liverpool's oldest prison, The Bridewell.
Bridewell Prison was constructed in 1857-1859 by surveyor John Weightman, and was originally designed as a police station and courts complex for the Corporation of Liverpool.
It housed inmates detained for court appearances and short sentences , and is now a Grade II-listed building and home to both Bitter Social and Furnival's Well.
The night will include a three-course indulgent Italian feast, all washed down with paired drinks and a special boozy extra to finish.

Bookings can be made between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, for [pounds sterling]30 per person for three courses, and [pounds sterling]20 per person for additional drinks pairings.
