This Ems win streak goes to 11.

SPOKANE - Eugene won its 11th consecutive game, beating Spokane 6-3 on Monday night.

The Ems improved to 41-15 and remained in first place in the second half of the South Division at 13-5 after winning the first half.

Stephen Bruno went 4-for-5 with three RBIs while D.J. Wilson went 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs.

Eugene took the lead with two runs in the first, when Yeiler Peguero led off with a double and went to third on a single by Bruno. Chris Pieters hit a sacrifice fly that scored Peguero.

Wladimir Galindo and Kevonte Mitchell each walked, and Jose Paniagua was hit by a pitch with two outs to score Bruno.

Wilson led off the second with a double and went to third on a wild pitch before scoring on Bruno's single to put the Ems ahead 3-0.

Spokane got two runs off Eugene starter Erling Moreno in the bottom of the second after Chad Smith reached on an error by Peguero and went to second on a groundout. Anderson Tejada singled in Smith and later scored on a single by Preston Scott to get the Indians within 3-2.

Wilson was hit by a pitch in the fourth and stole second before scoring on a single by Bruno to stretch Eugene's lead to 4-2.

The Emeralds pushed the lead to 5-2 in the sixth when Tyler Payne led off with a double and scored on a single by Bruno.

Moreno allowed three hits and two unearned runs in five innings.

Wilson had a two-out double in the eighth inning and scored on a single by Peguero to make it 6-2.

Reliever Dakota Mekkes threw two scoreless innings before Michael Knighton allowed a run in the eighth inning when Blaine Prescott tripled and scored on a single by Charles Leblanc.
