Third force creating row between Mehsud tribe, local Wazir tribe: Saleh Shah.

ISLAMABAD -- Senator Saleh Shah on Tuesday claimed that there is a third force involved in South Waziristan to create differences and rift between Mehsud tribe of refugees and local Wazir tribe.

Senator Saleh Shah said that both the tribes have been living together amiably in the said area for centuries, however, there is a third force which is creating dispute between the Mehsud tribe of refugees and local Wazir tribe.

Wazir tribe has set an example by providing refuge to the Mehsud tribe during war against terrorism in the region, he said. Adding, Shah said, "I wish that both the tribe will remain in peace in future for the welfare of their people and next generation".

The Senator said that we are in constant contact with the heads of both tribes to end the differences, which were developed due to anti-human elements. He hoped that all disputes between the aforementioned tribes would be resolved with the support of government soon.

He urged each individual of the tribes that they should play their due role to normalize the relations and situation in the area.

It is pertinent to mention here that earlier the Wazir tribe had given an ultimatum to the Mehsud tribe to leave the area in connection with suicide attack on local Taliban leader Mullah Nazir. The ultimatum was ended on Wednesday (today), however, the elders of both the tribes, Political Agent and others expedite contacts to resolve the differences immediately.
