Third Asia-Middle East Dialogue Ministerial Meeting today.

ISLAMABAD, December 14, 2010 (Frontier Star): The Third Asia-Middle East Dialogue Ministerial Meeting (AMED-III) is being held in Bangkok on 15-16 December 2010. According to Foreign office spokesmans, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Nawabzada Malik Amad Khan, will be leading the Pakistan delegation. Pakistan has been part of the AMED process since its inception. Previously, Singapore and Egypt have hosted AMED Ministerial meetings in June 2005 and April 2008, respectively. The theme for the AMED-III Ministerial meeting in Bangkok is "Strengthening Cooperation towards Common Prosperity". During the Third Ministerial meeting, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs will share Pakistan's perspectives on the wide-ranging agenda comprising political, security, economic, social and cultural issues. He is also expected to have bilateral meetings with various counterparts on the sidelines of the AMED-III.
