Thieves ransack home as family visits cancer victim.

BURGLARS have ransacked the home of a Birmingham family while they visited their daughter who is in hospital with cancer.

The thieves stole jewellery, computer equipment, mobile phones and a TV when they broke into the Hutchings' home, in Grestone Avenue, Handsworth Wood.

Police are hunting two men in a silver car, with a taxi number plate and a partial registration of BA2 or BY2. The first was described as black, of medium build, 5ft 8in to 5ft 10in tall. The second was Chinese or Vietnamese, of medium build, 5ft 8in to 5ft 11in, both were in their early 20s.
