Thief moans in court: I've been robbed.

A PURSE snatcher told a court yesterday that her home had been robbed while she sat waiting for her case to start.

Donna Gellatly's lawyer David Holmes said she was "quite upset" by the raid.

At Perth Sheriff Court, drug user Gellatly, 36, of the city, admitted stealing a handbag from a local cafe in February 2012, stealing aftershave from Debenhams and missing a court date.

Sheriff Lindsay Foulis gave her a 12-month community payback order. The court heard she had a long criminal record in England, where she once hid a knife her boyfriend had used to stab a man.
