They're not scabs, they do the job.

IN reply to S T Vaughan's letter in the Birmingham Mail on July 28 ('Saying sorry won't sort out our refuse'): Unlike him, I am quite happy for "scabs", as he describes them, to empty my bins.

These are people who want to work and provide for their families. If the current employees who are well paid do not wish to continue carrying out their duties, then I am sure there are plenty who do.
