5 January 2012 - ThermoGenesis Corp (NASDAQ:KOOL), a US-based developer of medical products that enable the collection, processing and preservation of stem cells, said on Wednesday that India's health ministry had given its approval for the sales of the AutoXpress System (AXP) in India.

J. Melville Engle, chairman and chief executive officer of ThermoGenesis said that the AXP approval in India comes as the company expects the product to be approved in China.

Engle said that ThermoGenesis will be working closely with Fenwal Inc, its AXP distributor in India, to begin the commercial launch of the device as soon as possible.
