Theo's aiming to hit 'em for six in Perth cracker; RACING.

Theo could head to Perth tomorrow in search of a staggering six-timer.

The seven-year-old will be aiming to extend an astonishing record if declared for the big race at Scone Palace.

With PS25,000 on offer for a Monday jumps race, a high class field will line-up for the Sodexo Killiecrankie Handicap Chase.

Theo is in the mix and will rack up a magical six-timer if winning.

Since moving from Shane Donohoe's yard to Dr Richard Newland, Theo has won five races in just over two months, the last of which coming at Newton Abbott eight days ago.

Art of Payroll is also a contender. Harry Fry took over the training by of this one from Sandra Hughes and instantly kept him on winning ways with a success at Southwell a couple of weeks ago.

Course and distance winner Mountain King may represent Scone regular Gordon Elliott.

The two-and-a-half mile chase is the highlight of a seven-race card.

This is one of the last fixtures of Perth's season and some of the stars of the winter jumps scene will be in action before the Festival later in the month.

Last year Grand National-winning trainer Donald McCain was on the mark in this fixture with Stone Quercus.

But there was also local success for Lanarkshire handler William Young and the Glenfarg-based Lucy Normille.

As well as a fantastic card, there is also a celebration of the best of Scottish food and drink and there will also be a theme of munching at Musselburgh on Saturday.

Alongside seven races including the valuable Caledonian Cup, you'll be able to enjoy live music and sip an array of beers straight from the Caledonian Brewery in Edinburgh.
