The range features authentic, clean label flavours which, typically, are difficult to accomplish without an impact on the dosage, such as the traditional Nature Identical or Maillard-type flavourings. Due to the reduction in dosage ratios, considerable savings are made on purchasing, transportation and storage.
TasteTech offers its Natural Selection flavourings as concentrated top notes or as ready compounded blends. Their Controlled Release technology can also be applied, meaning that flavourings are protected until release is required. This process works by encapsulating each chicken or beef flavouring within an invisible microfilm of vegetable oil, transforming them into free flowing, easy to handle, powders. Release of the flavouring occurs when required, either through heat, chewing or a change in pH. Natural flavourings are also available in spray dried powder or liquid forms to provide the technologist with a maximum of possible options. With the encapsulated chicken flavourings, the batter and pre-dust can be successfully flavoured to withstand flash frying at up to 230[degrees]C.
