Byline: VICKY SPAVINPOP legend Lulu had plenty to shout about yesterday when she showed the world her new hair-do.
The 51-year-old singer, who hit the big time at 14, proved she is still at the cutting edge of fashion with shoulder-length blonde hair extensions.
Extensions have become the latest celebrity must-have as the likes of Britney Spears and Posh Spice Victoria Beckham get in on the act.
Lulu revealed her new look at a party for designers Nicky Haslem and Simon Mills at trendy Brompton Bay Bar in Chelsea as she posed for pictures with ex-Duran Duran star Nick Rhodes.
Lulu, born Marie Laurie in Dennistoun, Glasgow, was married to her hair stylist, John Frieda, for more than 20 years.
And it is not the first time she has reinvented herself with a new look.
The pint-sized singer was transformed from a mousey-haired teenager into a 1960s icon with her 1964 hit, Shout.
Not the hair extensions are taking over from the recent short 'n' sassy style.
