The last 5 things I bought: TAMZIN OUTHWAITE, 33, actress.

On a strictly need-to-know basis, we need to know what the celebs have been spending their money on

What sort of shopper are you? I like it but I'm not

a regular shopper. I'll put a day aside and I'll shop till I drop. And if I'm filming in Shepherds Bush, I'll hop into a cab and do the West End.

1Jacket I've just become an ambassador for the Spirit At Debenhams range which is great because they're the sort of clothes I'd buy anyway. In fact, I've already got a brown suede suit of theirs

which cost pounds 95.

I particularly

like the jacket which is straight

and comes to just below the bum. I wear it with jeans.

3CD Along with the rest of the world, I've just bought Coldplay's new album, A Rush Of Blood To The Head. I saw Chris Martin, the lead singer, being interviewed on TV the other day. It was so refreshing to hear someone intelligent and funny talking about music. A rock star with a degree - what a good role model.

2Sweater I also got a white chunky-knit cardigan with a plunging crossover neckline. It feels soft and sexy. Again, I like to wear it with jeans but you can also dress it up a bit to look smart for an evening date. It's really comfortable and snuggly which is good for winter. It cost pounds 40.

4Book My current project is a TV adaptation of Deborah Moggach's latest book Final Demand. I'd read the script so I also bought the book (Heinemann, pounds 12.99). It's about a girl who dreams up a scheme to bank cheques made out to her employer in her own account. It's a real nail-biter.

5Champagne I had a special screening recently at my house for Out Of Control, a BBC drama in which I play the mother of a young tearaway. I bought seven bottles of champagne at the local off-licence, each one of them different. But after we'd finished the third bottle the only thing we could identify about them was that they all had bubbles.
