The hypocrisy of antibacterial hand gels. (Junior Division).

The purpose of my project is to test the effects of different commercial hand gels on bacteria and compare them to "home made brand." A price comparison will be done to determine which hand gel is most efficient in price. Make agar pour in petri dish. Place filter disc in hand gel and place on a quadrant labeled petri dish. Place in incubator for 24 hours. Examine and measure the ring of inhibition. By measuring the size of the ring of inhibition, I conclude that the homemade hand gel worked better then the store bought hand gels. The homemade hand gels ring of inhibition average was 8.5mm while the Bath and Body Works hand gel ring of inhibition was 8.0mm. The dial had a ring of 4mm.
