The buzz is that 'Bees are special.

SHE Keeps Bees (and apparently that's something we should all be doing these days) play Taylor John's House in Coventry's Canal Basin tomorrow night.

The Brooklyn-based duo comprise Jessica Larrabee and Andy LaPlant and specialise in raunchily authentic blues/rock. Comparisons with the White Stripes, therefore, are all but compulsory, although the musical roles are reversed in this relationship with Jessica on vocals and guitar while Andy plays the drums.

The overwhelming consensus of opinion from critics in the specialist rock press and the posh Sundays is that they are on the cusp of their next-bigthing breakthrough with the release of debut album Nests on Monday.

So there is clearly plenty of 'I was there' potential for anybody who grabs the chance to check them out up close and personal tomorrow night - the show starts at 8pm (tickets pounds 6 from www.tinangeltickets.co.uk).
