The bottom line.

The U.S. Intemational Trade Commission has issued an order agreeing with Presstek Inc. (PRST) that two of its patents had been infringed and issuing a preliminary order barring the import of some printing plates. The plates are used to print newsletters, letterhead and book covers. The companies involved are by VIM Technologies Ltd. and Hanita Coatings RCA Ltd., both of Israel; Guaranteed Service & Supplies Inc. of Wisconsin; AteCe Canada of Toronto, Canada; Recognition Systems Inc. of New York; and Spicers Paper Inc. of California. Presstek says VIM Technologies used its patented technology for making the plates, and arranged for them to be manufactured by Hanita Coatings RCA.

Bottomline Technologies (EPAY) has announced that American Banker, Bank Technology News and IDC Financial Insights have named the company to the 2009 FinTech 100, the annual ranking of the top technology providers serving the global banking and financial services community.

White Mountains Re Group Ltd., the Bermuda-based reinsurance unit of White Mountains Insurance Group Ltd. (WFM), has declared a dividend of $37.53 per share, payable in cash on or before Dec. 31 to holders of record of its Fixed/Floating Perpetual Non-Cumulative Preference Shares as of the close of business on Dec. 30.

The board of Speedway Motorsports Inc. (TRK) has increased the company's stock-repurchase plan by 1 million shares. That is in addition to the 500,000 shares that remain available for repurchase from a previous authorization.
