The biggest financial support goes for vegetative propagation: every year, tobacco-growers are first to receive financial support.

In 2017, farmers will receive financial assistance of nearly 100 million euro with direct payments. The assets were distributed to all agriculture sectors, and most of the funds are allocated for covering the expenses for vegetative propagation. Farmers will receive over 32.5 million euro for vegetative propagation, and stockbreeders will receive 19.2 million euro.

The same subsidizing measures will apply for the additional financial support for agricultural development i.e. financial assistance for insurance, help for young farmers, registered farmers, agricultural land and farms located in mountain regions, as well as financial support for the damages caused by natural disasters. The amount of financial support will be in the range of 5 to 50 percent from the total expenses depending on the croppers.
