The baby girl who saved mum's life.
The growing baby shifted her mum's vital organs during the pregnancy and the bullet passed through her without touching them or the child.
Tamara Fisch-Lifshitz, 33, said: "If I had not been pregnant I would not be alive now.'' She gave birth to a baby girl soon after the attack by Palestinian gunmen near her home on the West Bank.
Her father and a neighbour were killed in Monday's shooting.
Dr Alon Pikarsky of Jerusalem's Hadassah Hospital, said: "If she hadn't been pregnant the injuries would have been a lot more serious.'' Mother and baby are fine.
