The Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation and the Lewis and Clark Community College Nurse Managed Center have been awarded a $75,000 Safety-Net Enhancement Initiative grant from the Kresge Foundation.

The Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation and the Lewis and Clark Community College Nurse Managed Center have been awarded a $75,000 Safety-Net Enhancement Initiative grant from the Kresge Foundation. The grant will be used by both organizations to develop a strategy aimed at reducing health disparities in Calhoun, Jersey, Green, Macoupin and northern Madison counties. The partnership will integrate Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation's primary care services with Lewis and Clark's Nurse Managed Center and its academic setting to create a unique healthcare delivery model.
